I like to write. It’s something I’ve done sporadically but frequently for most of my life.

My first journey into entrepreneurship involved writing. I wrote template love letters for classmates in the seventh grade that had trouble expressing themselves. Kind of a Cyrano de Bergerac sort of thing. I had three levels or categories of samples to choose from, or love level: I-like-you, like-a-whole-lot, and I-desperately-love-you. I was making good candy-store money, selling them for 25 cents, until one of my classmates showed up with naked girlie pictures for sale and soaked up all of the extra milk money around there.

I guess the most substantial piece of writing I’ve done was to complete a novel. It is a murder suspense tale set in Houston and it’s called Downtown and Dirty.
